SEVENTY-TWO ATHLETICS
The 37 Words That Changed Everything.
In 1972, a single sentence was etched into American law. Thirty-seven words that promised a level playing field. It wasn’t just a legal victory; it was the birth of a new era.
"No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity..."
For the girls who finally got their own jerseys, the women who pushed for scholarships, and the legends who proved that greatness has no gender—1972 was the year the game finally began.
Our Mission: The Gold Standard
Seventy-Two Athletics was founded to honor that legacy. We don’t just make apparel; we make tributes to the grit, the sweat, and the "Gold Standard" of women’s sports.
Whether it is the high-stakes pressure of a soccer final, the snap of a softball into a glove, or the new frontiers of flag football—we believe every female athlete deserves to be seen as the elite competitor she is.
The Seventy-Two Aesthetic
We lean into the history because it is our foundation. Our designs—SHE GOT GAME, INVEST IN WOMEN, and SHE DID IT—are meant for the players on the field and the allies in the stands.
We use Championship Gold and Deep Navy Blue to represent the prestige and the relentless pursuit of victory.
This is for the pioneers. This is for the MVPs. This is for the next 50 years of the game.
Wear the history. Join the legacy.
